          Day 36 - Sula, MT

We didn't sleep very late, but we did sleep well. I walked up to the restaurant for coffee and was greeted by the same hostess (I wish I knew her name!). The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, and appears to serve drinks and snacks to the pool every day except Tuesday, when the pool is also closed for cleaning. I asked about hours - her attitude suggested that she was willing to have the kitchen open whenever we liked. We walked ...

Today we left Yellowstone behind and enjoyed a trip through mountains and valleys to the Triple Creek Lodge in Darby Mt. We visited the Roosevelt Arch at the North Entrance to Yellowstone, followed the Yellowstone, Gallatin, and Bitterroot rivers as we made our way to the Bitterroot Mountains in Mt. We enjoyed excellent food and drink at the Lodge and Sally found her first TV in 6 days Tomorrow we float the Bitterroot River fly fishing and then pan for ...

With the National Parks in our rear view mirror, there isn't much to report today. In fact, the only reason we came this way is to set up Lolo Pass tomorrow. Not all was ...

We are 47 miles south of Missoula at the house of a niece of Lu's. it is less than a mile to the Bitterroot River, and about 4037 population. We got here about 8:30pm after spending some time at the Bison Refuge. That area was pretty interesting, and we saw the Plains Bison, antelope, mule ear deer and a couple of birds in a 4 different zones. One can just imagine 150 years ago with hundreds of Bison ...
