... We notice that everything here on the Island is very orderly - lawns always mowed, houses neat and tidy - even the boats are lined up end-to-end in the small harbors.
We visited the Green Gables Heritage Place in Cavendish, touring the house that was the author's inspiration for the setting of the classic tale of fiction, "Anne of Green Gables." (Thought of you, Katie....)

... and searched for Green Gable right away. It is located in Cavendish, which was really beautiful to drive through. Houses are colourful and surrounded by rolling green pastures, while the dirt is as red and lovely as it is said to be. ... Sam left us at the top as she had to get back for work and Leanna went back with her. Melody and I chatted to some campers at the top and I took some pictures of the view. I asked about what was on the other side of the hill and Melody took me to try to find a trail. We ended up walking for another hour or so along farmland and through overgrown mozzie filled paths.
