... We notice that everything here on the Island is very orderly - lawns always mowed, houses neat and tidy - even the boats are lined up end-to-end in the small harbors.
We visited the Green Gables Heritage Place in Cavendish, touring the house that was the author's inspiration for the setting of the classic tale of fiction, "Anne of Green Gables." (Thought of you, Katie....)

Having cooed over the size of Canadian kitchens, it was great to get up each morning and have breakfast in one. We’d already got ridiculously over excited in several supermarkets now it was great to have the chance to buy some stuff from one and go and cook it . After a taster in Toronto it was lovely to spend an afternoon on a huge couch whilst watching endless episodes of House Hunters ...

Leaving here tomorrow, heading towards Quebec. About 17 more days until we head back into the U.S. and down the coast to Florida, where it is hopefully much warmer..
