... perfect way for me to end my trip here on the island. Yesterday actually started out somewhat more complicated than I would have liked, since my phone charger has been broken for about a week and my phone died the night before. I ended up not being able to set an alarm and wake up on time, so I was unfortunately unable to shadow in Gynecology that day. The reason I'm not completely disappointed about this is because I realized that all I was going to see was more Cesarian Sections ...
... Marc and Sergio didn't show up for class today, so Ashley and I got to leave the hospital early. We went to SuperDino to get some snacks and then ran back to the residencia. I don't know why I've been so tired today, but I had two coffees before seminar and I still almost fell asleep. As we reached the Canaries the black volcanic rock of the mountains soon gave way to beach fringed blue seas next we were down, through ...
... since it was in the south we had absolutely perfect weather. It was extremely sunny and warm, but not uncomfortably hot or humid--perfect weather for the beach. The south is the most popular tourist area on the island, so everyone on the beach spoke an awkward mix of Spanish, English, French and German. The beach itself though was among the top five most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. The sand was a mix of black and white, so it had this cool brown/silver color I've never ...
