    My flight to Madrid was delayed and I had plans to meet my buddy Jeff for a beer so I was in a bit of a rush at the airport. I got a taxi instead of attempting the metro.     ... This is a beautiful park in the middle of there city. I specifically wanted to see the Crystal Palace. I eventually found it- the park was bigger than I anticipated. It was stunning and well worth the walk in the heat. Part of the park also has a lake, this is obviously Madrid's answer to the beach. There were lots of sunbathers in bikinis and speedos. On the lake you could hire little dinghys to row. There was a huge line to hire these. I had done a lot of asking and ...
