Saturday 7/3 – After a nice slow and casual morning I dropped the hire car off and walked back to our accomm. We checked out, stored our bags and went for a walk and coffee for the last time on Ocean Drive. The weather was looking a bit threatening and rain is forecast for later today. Coffee was followed by some casual browsing through the shops then we headed back to collect our bags and catch a taxi to the port, only a 10 minute drive. There were at least ...
... and included a catered four course meal! We had a great location and thoroughly enjoyed using it.
The weather could not be more perfect, nice breeze, sunny and about 75 degrees. Life is good! We were wondering what all the widget makers were doing while we were basking in the breezes. :))

This was a day to relax after 3 straight days of touring and rushing from one scheduled event to another. I took advantage of the quiet morning and did laundry. I got a good deal as the one dryer would not stop, so no quarters were needed there!

We brought laundry into town first thing in the morning and had breakfast and freshly brewed, strong, coffee (that's a treat!) at a restaurant a few doors down while waiting for the cycles to finish. (BTW, the laundromat here is wonderful. Clean, spacious...and the driers fully dried all three of my loads. Impressive!) The interior of the boat has had a thorough tidying and cleaning. Wes looked a lot like Thurston Howell III … just uncanny. So really he and Debbie, aka “Luvvie” (as per Gilligan’s Island), were a perfect match for each other.
Thurston, aka Wes, had been to Australia during the Vietnam war and knew and flew with Aussie pilots in the army.
