... to re-pave the severely eroded asphalt. From the bridge, you can see a huge contrast between the dark blue Atlantic Ocean churning away, as there is no reef to slow this down, and the calm turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. There is a blue hole on the Caribbean side, as well as much rock and bridge debris, which made me realized the force the water has going through here during a storm. The flight plan was to head south so we could minimize the over water time and an eastbound turn from Palm Beach VORTAC (PBI) made the most sense. We received our transponder squawk code from Miami Center and climbed to 9500' MSL. The original plan called for an altitude of 7500' but there were some cumulus clouds ...

This was a day to relax after 3 straight days of touring and rushing from one scheduled event to another. I took advantage of the quiet morning and did laundry. I got a good deal as the one dryer would not stop, so no quarters were needed there!

We played another trivia game this afternoon, but we were pitiful...another couple joined us, but we only got half of the answers right...they were even multiple choice! We didn't even do ...
