... was smooth sailing! We arrived in Tagaytay and made it just in time for lunch. Our check into the hotel wasn't until 2 so it was a perfect way to pass the time.

We stopped to eat at a place called RSM. We had a great lunch of crispy pata and bulalo. Crispy pata is basically pig knuckes - but honestly, the crispy part is my favorite part so I don't really care what part of the pig it is! Bulalo is ...

... history of Taal since 1572 claimed fatalities, mostly from powerful pyroclastic flows, as well as tsunamis produced in the crater lake. No chance of a eruption today though. I had a great day with my new friends and was so happy to have made this trip. Find more information on the worlds smallest's active volcano here.. al-volcano/

        ... Mom somewhere in Manila.

On route to get to this store, Kuya Ronnie stopped at a shopping plaza to use the restroom (or "comfort room" to you Filipinos haha). As we began pulling away from the plaza, I noticed a store called "Balikbayan Handicrafts" and saw wood carvings outside. I said to my Ate Baby, "Do you think they'll have something there?" So we stopped and went into the store to see what they had. We didn't have any luck finding a last ...

... and saw a big sign on the side reading "Open Tuesday to Sunday." Well, damn... it's MONDAY. The one day that it is closed, we managed to go! We snapped some pictures and then headed back to Pilar.

It was a smart move to come back to Pilar too, because not long after we got back it started to rain like CRAZY. They say that a storm is headed this way this week too so I'm sure that isn't helping the situation. Marnie has been sick ...

... of an appetite. Ate Baby made me some green tea and now I lay here finishing this blog!

Tomorrow is going to be a rest day for me... I ask that you all say some prayers for me because after this experience on this ferry, I am pretty scared about getting on the ferry next week to visit my family in the province on Mindoro. That's a bigger ferry and a longer ride and I do NOT want to get sick there.

Here's to a good nights rest for me tonight - cheers!
