      14th Feb

      We arrived back in Manila around 4am. As soon as we got off the bus we were swarmed by taxis. Tim was convinced that they weren't legit taxis and that they were going to over charge us. I jumped in one anyway had headed back to pink Manila hostel. Tim didn't want to go back there so he went to find another hostel. The taxi ended up to be cheaper than it was to get to the bus station so Tim's theory was wrong. As I said to him, all the taxis know that ...

      We ordered Bulalo (P490) because according to our attendant, it's good for 5
      persons and we won't regret ordering it. We also ordered Ming's Oriental
      Garden Salad for appetizer and for sharing. We ordered their Crispy
      Tawilis as additional to our main course and Suman with Bucayo for dessert.

      ... term to describe this guy rather than a pure douchebag. There was NO WAY we were going to wait to see if he would show back up, so truly disappointed, we made our way back to Las Pinas.

      ... all being built up to be a tourist area with the mall, casinos, high rises, etc. We ate lunch at Gerry's Grill and had some traditional Filipino fare - I had si****ng (can you tell I like si****ng?) and pork barbecue. My stomach was still feeling a big shaky, so the si****ng was a good choice with rice! I also enjoyed a green mango juice per the recommendation of my Ate Baby and Kuya Ronnie - SO good! YUMMY!!!
