... the 3 mile trail instead in the midday sun. Not before we stopped off at a seaside inflatable shop and bought a LILO. Okay so you can't go by Plymouth without stopping in to see where the first people stepped when arriving in the US off the Mayflower. Took some pictures of the replica of the Mayflower and also the Plymouth Rock Memorial... don't know if this was the actual rock or not but I touched it virtually in my pictures. ... Bourne bridge (complete with Bourne theme music) before stopping for a wee. But the restroom was closed for the season - a sign of things to come. The drive up the Cape was fairly unspectacular and punctuated with both of us moaning about needing the toilet. And just when we looked like we'd reached our destination, the bleeding school bus pulled out in front! So that put an extra 20 minutes on!

We arrived in Provincetown at about 3pm ...

UPDATE: apparently "regular" coffee means with cream and sugar in certain areas--they must've asked me "regular?" and I blindly said yes thinking they meant caffinated...so I guess I can't totally hate on Dunkin'--though, I still think they should have coffee station where you can add your own cream and sugar*
