The weather was not great but not too bad either and cleared up during the day when we crossed the bridge over to New Brunswick and stopped at the fossil cliffs of Joggins. The tide was up so we could not look for fossils but the scenery was stunning anyways. From there it was about 2 hours to get back to Halifax.

Quiet night tonight. Not taking in
a show, just happy hour, dinner and bed. Keith and John stayed up a little
longer to watch the ice sculpting and dessert extravaganza. Brought us a
chocolate coated strawberry back each. Not telling what they consumed while we
weren’t there! Nothing we are told. Yeah, yeah.

Because we had such a low key day, I've decided to instead use this entry to mention some of the interesting place names we encountered in our travels. I wonder if the people who named these towns and areas were nipping a little too much on the potato vodka.

... our stomachs from hours ago? Fortunately, we stumbled upon a British style pub. The host didn't seem comfortable when we rushed in and hugged him. Seeing it was a British pub, we had to have fish & chips. This was the real deal - our food came served on newspaper.

Returning to Beach house
I left at 9am this morning, arrived at 7:30pm, which was earlier than expected, nevertheless tireing. I decided to drive around Stratford, especially into the nice subdivision of luxurious houses. Quite a few are for sale, which I looked up MLS; heavy price tag attached, anywhere between $350~$450k's. I should be looking for a husband~doctor instead of a house....
I drive then to the grocery so I can cook up something for tonight. Found food, but no future husband....
