My last two days in Tenerife

... all had such an indescribable experience here in Tenerife; it really has been something so mystical, real, tragic, comical, scary, thrilling, new, bizarre and magical, but at the end of the day, we all had a beautiful time getting to know each other, our doctors, the hospitals, our coordinators, the Spaniards of the residencia, and the island. I may have gotten some awesome shadowing experience while here and taught some wonderful English, but what I'm really thankful to take from ...

... Child Psychiatry and Pediatrics, leaving the residency with certification in all three specialties. This is a very exciting opportunity to not only specialize, but also to generalize and provide primary care services to the developing children of our nation (while also improving early intervention in mental health disorders). Alas it now held a few boats and yachts for the richer incoming flood of tourists and escapees from more northern countries. The towns name is Playa San Juan and although I thoroughly enjoyed the harbour, the thing which really made ...

    Week3---WEEKEND---week4

... since it was in the south we had absolutely perfect weather. It was extremely sunny and warm, but not uncomfortably hot or humid--perfect weather for the beach. The south is the most popular tourist area on the island, so everyone on the beach spoke an awkward mix of Spanish, English, French and German. The beach itself though was among the top five most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. The sand was a mix of black and white, so it had this cool brown/silver color I've never ...
