... I came out of the hostel I saw that Tom was sitting in the front seat of the beat up Bronco that was there waiting for the boys. Huh? Since when were we going with them? I looked nervously at Alex, Ron & Trevor and they assured me that if we came we'd be safe, afterall there were 5 of us and only 2 locals. So I decided to ignore my rule-following insticts and embrace the collective adventurous spirit and jumped into the back of the Bronco.

Magical Monteverde
Well what can i say - I LOVE COSTA RICA. It is liking stepping back into the real world with all the charm and charisma of central America still. We have hot water, we have decent if not first-class food, most people speak english and we have a certain element of western life. Bocas de Toro- La Fortuna
... una hora más temprano :)). Llegamos a San José a la 1.30pm y allí cogimos otro autobús a Ciudad Quesada, pues al parecer el que iba directamente a La Fortuna había salido a las 6am. Salimos a las 2.10pm y llegamos a Ciudad Quesada a las 4.30pm, donde cogimos otro a La Fortuna que salió a las 5.40pm. Por fin llegamos a LA FORTUNA bastante molidos y anquilosados, de noche y lloviznando, a las 7pm.
Nos alojamos en La Choza Inn (30$). Nuestra idea era algo más ...
