Blue Mountains

The following morning was to be an
early start as we were heading for the blue Mountains which was to be
a 2.5 hour trip. We were awoken by an amazing view!!! Michelle woke
around 5:30 to see the sun rise in front of her. Not closing the
curtains that night, the view was fantastic, Michelle Shook Dean
awake for him to see it, We took some snaps and watched the sun rise
in front of over the Opera house. This had to be one of the best
views we had seen so far.

how being a tight ass can actually save your life

Given the gentle day yesterday - I wanted something with a bit more bite today. I decided to head back down to Echo point where i would look into going on the the steepest train decent in the world :-) and then walk back up. On arrival at 'Scenic World' there was a deal on - basically for $28 I could churn my stomach in a whole host of different ways! The 'scenic train", The 'Scenic Cable' (I love the Australian imagination for naming things...new south wales/ Newcastle/the ...

Goodbye Bondi, Hello Australia

... dead roo in it not so nice. Then to get out of the canyon we had to climb a tree like Tarzan, and then push our way through the bush up a hill, i thought we were lost but i was wrong when we came out of a bush and the bus was right in front of us. Big black cockies = Big black cockatoo, haha i had to ask the guide what he meant when he said that. We got back earlier than expected so i walked back to the Yha and fell asleep on the sofa waiting for the bus to arrive.

... for gas. When we tried to restart the car, nothing happened other than the batttery coming on. We tried this for about 10 minutes and we examined the engine, but nothing was happening, not even a click. Fortunately, the guy pumping gas next to us saw our plight and took a look. He determined that the car was immobilized. Apparently, the panic button on our keychain also immobilizes the car, and we had managed to immobilize it. So ...
