      ... the Three Sisters rock formation and out across the bushland, deep valleys and sandstone outcrops which stretch to the horizon. Echo Point is also the starting spot for the Giant Stairway. As the name suggests, it's a bloody massive set of steps - 900 in all - which takes you from the viewpoint, down the cliff face and into the bush below. And "for fun", Adam decided it would be a great idea to see how long it would take to get down there and back up ...

      Another day on the road to take the trip down to the Blue mountains. Just the matter of the 9hour drive! A stop off in Newcastle for a bite to eat, which is a far cry from England's version! Arriving at a b&b for the night, we could not have been happier with the room which was stunning and very homely. Plus the owner had a little dog which was very friendly and well behaved so didn't exactly remind us of our mutt back ...

      ... be early enough, or maybe too early! Probably not the latter. The site was to be that of the Three Sisters, and I wanted get a good position to see William & Kate. Maybe George too.

      ... Before getting on the bus I quickly went over the the three sisters lookout in hope that I would be able to see them. Luckily the fog had just lifted enough to be able to see them.
      We headed off to the grocery store to buy food for the week then headed off to the cabins and got settled in. I knew three of the four other guys in the cabin, so we got to know the gentleman over dinner. After dinner we went out to the bonfire and enjoyed some makeshift smores, listened ...
