Woke up to an ok day for our last one at Blackheath, most of fog gone and very little wind, Keith started putting things away in preparation to travel to Berri tomorrow, did some washing and in general pottered around, picked up Deb and went to Katoomba so she could do some shopping before she goes ...

Not satisfied with our acknowledgement of this fact he then continued to press the matter home telling us that some people may be prone to getting "angsty" (present company evidently not excluded) until we decided to drag ourselves and our belongings into the next carriage. This was no small undertaking and left us feeling ...

... an awe-inspiring experience. Once my legs had started to feel a little less shaky I followed the Federal Pass around to the Scenic Railway where I very wisely decided to ride the steepest incline railway in the world back up to the top! Although it was a quick ride it was absolutely fantastic and felt so weird to be in an almost vertical position riding upwards. But after having already been walking for 3 hours that morning it definitely felt much better than ...
