We woke up to sunshine which was the first we had seen in days so I was sort of feeling torn between racing home or spending a few moments checking out the Lake. We asked for some suggestions from the front desk and got a great tip to take the scenic drive up Prospect Mountain which was literally a few blocks away. The drive cost $10 but had several view points out over the lake ...

We had a great week in RI. We spent most of the time with our son but did manage to spend some time with good friends as well. We even managed a few games of Mahjong. Hope everyone is ...

We had to take the hike up Prospect Mountain. It was almost 2 miles to the top and it was a hike straight up! It was a great hike and once at the top the views were fantastic. On a real clear day they say you can see a 100 miles. It wasn't that clear but we could see pretty good. We thought the only way up was to hike but found a big parking lot at the top. We are glad we did the hike ...
