A really relaxing day today. After breakfast we walked over to the fairground to watch the "slack" which is where all contenders vie for a place in the top 10 so that they can compete in the evening show. We sat in the cool of the grandstand pretty much all alone and enjoyed the show. All done by around 11 so we wandered back into town to poke around the shops. A short day on the bike today, a lazy ride north from Victor through Ashton with a drive in Diner called Frosttop that has been going the same amount of time that Tim has. Then we had a pretty dry but scenic ride up to Ennis (not with a silent P). We rode through a ghost town of Nevada City and arrived in Twin Bridges. and all, but it will be nice to plug our ipod straight into the
radio, as the FM transmitters really are not working that well.
Anyone want a deal on a cassett player? We do remember driving back
