... delicious coffee. At 8:15 we were on the road and heading south in a convoy. Dan had brought three walkie talkies so we were all able to communicate. It reminded us of our high school days when CB radios and Smokey and the Bandit were all the rage! It was a long day of driving with several pee breaks and one lunch stop and we arrived at Jordanelle State Park at about 5:00 pm. Our campsite ...

We headed out toward Canada slow and steady. We needed to get the air conditioner cover put back on Sparky. We weren't sure if we had stressed out the air conditioner because it was missing and that is why it continued to throw the breaker, or if it just can't run continuously in the heat. We drove by Big Hole Battlefield of the violent Nez Perce War. We reached the KOA Campground around 1:45 pm after traveling 295 miles. The cost for 2 nights was $98.49 which included buying an annual KOA membership for ...

A really relaxing day today. After breakfast we walked over to the fairground to watch the "slack" which is where all contenders vie for a place in the top 10 so that they can compete in the evening show. We sat in the cool of the grandstand pretty much all alone and enjoyed the show. All done by around 11 so we wandered back into town to poke around the shops. There was an interesting second hand clothing ...

A short day on the bike today, a lazy ride north from Victor through Ashton with a drive in Diner called Frosttop that has been going the same amount of time that Tim has. Then we had a pretty dry but scenic ride up to Ennis (not with a silent P). We rode through a ghost town of Nevada City and arrived in Twin Bridges. Twin Bridges had their first tornado in over 100 years touch down a few weeks ago, ...
