... lunch at 2nd. Tasting lovely wines with prices between $40 and $150 per bottle and very picturesque surroundings. Then back to hotel for final tasting ( matching with chocolate) which was somewhat anti climatic but overall a great trip with nice group. ... We didn't stay at the lodge this year, instead choosing to take Tumbleweed and stay at the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. For those of you who RV, it is a decent place to stay for a reasonable price. Gravel sites, fairly level and quiet...unless it's fair time I suppose. :)

We headed back to Sacramento on the 5th for a couple more commitments and left for Oregon on June 16th. We are looking forward to cooler weather and seeing some new things.

... I toured the city and made our way to Haight/Ashbury. Michael found some much needed loafers at the Goodwill ,since he hadn't been able to find his other shoes from the last stop. The hills in San Fran are NO joke!!! Holy crack a monkey these streets have a vertical incline that feel like 90* but probably closer to 80*. I don't know that to be true ,but they were steeper than any mountain we climbed the whole trip!! It was 4th of July and we were in San Francisco. After a good ...
