    ... We didn't stay at the lodge this year, instead choosing to take Tumbleweed and stay at the fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. For those of you who RV, it is a decent place to stay for a reasonable price. Gravel sites, fairly level and quiet...unless it's fair time I suppose. :)

    We headed back to Sacramento on the 5th for a couple more commitments and left for Oregon on June 16th. We are looking forward to cooler weather and seeing some new things.

    ... away. What a discovery! Most of Big Sur is viewed from above there are not a lot of beaches easily accessible. But this one after a brief wait was ideal. The water was ice cold but the beach was not. I could have stayed forever! San Francisco was calling and after a 4 hour beachfront view we needed to be moving along. The drive up was pretty, but not as scenic and south Hwy 1. Still impressive. We found a food stand with incredibly cheap produce from the local farms that were all over ...
