... rubs, and paths worn through the high grasses are all signs that wildlife have passed by. We also got to hear the male elk 'bugling'...this is their mating call and September/October is their mating season. A pretty large herd of bison were feeding on the hillside as we made our way around the park. It's pretty awesome just watching them interacting with each other and their babies.

Deer are everywhere and graze in a meadow right behind the RV. We have encountered many turtles, most harmless, but one morning we crossed paths with a very large snapping turtle. We gave him the right of ...

Nothing like waking up to a peaceful campground, dew on the grass, a chill in the air and the comforts of home... a Keurig machine and Donut Shop coffee:) After a great nights sleep it was time to get back on the road if we actually wanted to do the JD tour. I did inside chores and Mike cleaned up the mess we left behind from the night before. We make a great team! On the way out of the campground we passed a 'dump station' and we both said we didn't need to ...
