... get much harder and steeper the next 7 hours it was a good moment to decide. Maria had to wait for ten minutes for another guide to pick her up and bring her down which happened as we found out later. We went on and on and on and on and up real steep until around 1 when we stopped for lunch and a swim at a waterfall. We were all completely drenched with sweat and it was great to fresh up. Of course it was all real beautiful as the nature is in the jungle here. Saw some interesting trees ...

... at you etc! The ferry finally set off at 10:30 and took almost an hour to get to the other side (Trat) where we would meet our big double decker air conditioned bus. We exchanged out ticket at the station and were given a sticker (depending on your destination) to let the bus driver know you were meant to be on that bus. ... hotel in Bangkok! All the bungalows are located a steep hike into the Nature Park, providing a much more relaxing environment than the beach-front huts, which are surrounded by bars and have a tendency to be lively (loud!) at night. The location was very relaxing and had a main cabin at the peak of the hill, which provided some amazing sea views.

... meet my new friends I earned their acceptance. Amazing how a good round of look at the stupid oblivious tourist running up the beach changed the atmosphere of the day. Brilliant.

The coral, barracudas, 70 degree blue water and easy going nature of the people is a perfect combination. Next on the docket for the day. Night squid fishing.
