... to go back to Siem Reap to teach) and were paying less than two pounds each a night!!! Bargain !!! We had heard loads about the famous night market in Trat so that's where we headed for dinner. And the market did not disappoint, fresh fruit, food, smoothies and milkshakes and bakery everywhere !!! All fresh and clean and ready to eat ! Oh and did I mention cheap!!! Mary Jane's which also looks like a reggae bar and Moulin Rouge's which is clearly a ***** house with many hookers sat on tables outside in working girl outfits Some are pretty, some are not There are many really big fluffy cats in the area. ... into the open. As we walked there were many stalls on each side and restaurants specialising in seafood, which apparently was some of the best in Thailand. This pier was unusual as it was more like a street in central Bangkok than a pier. As we got to the end we saw a small lighthouse which made us stop as it was placed perfectly in front of a back drop of jungle covered Thai Islands. ... random but i had pizza, one of the best ive eaten, plus only cost 4, happy days.

Walking back we went to this bar for a couple of drinks, only to find out the owner is from OZ, so being cheeky we asked about the tv and if we could watch six nations, being oz how could he say no, "tv channel 107, the remote behind the bar, just come and go as you please, if anyone trys to change the channel tell them where to go" So thats my night sorted!!!

After having stayed in Jomtien for about 10 days enjoying the beach and swimming pool it was time to move on. We are now in Koh Chang, beautiful island near Cambodia where we have been several times and which we really enjoy. Sadly enough it is starting to be well known and it is changing rapidly. We will stay here for about a month and will cross the border to travel to Angkor Wat, the lakes and the Mekong river ...
