how you can screw up eggs and toast but the breakfast was not very appetizing

- Roosters: Evil - but quite tasty when cooked Adobo style.
- Fast Food: This country had all the western ones plus many of their own. Budget eating meant usually going for fast food as restaurant food was considerably more expensive.
- Roosters: Nasty – but we did see one that looked exactly like the Kellogg’s Corn Flakes ...
... me here...). Anyway, they recently imposed a cap on the number of daily visitors (900 people per day) and required everyone to obtain a permit in advance. It sounded like a pain to book ahead so I didn't, and didn't think I'd get to see it. But on my first day in Sabang I stopped into the booking office and asked if they could fit one more person in. ... happy homeless families, who all live on the parade and wash in the sea water that laps at the walls protecting the paved parade, and watched the sun sink into the sea leaving behind a sky that looked like it was on fire! The locals from the shops and restaurants opposite all came out to watch the sun go down which was the biggest I have ever seen it! It was a really nice end to a good day out.

... checked all our bags in, bought our food etc ready to go through to departures when we're informed that we must pay an extra 450 Pesos each at a booth before immigration. Why not just put it in the price of the ticket. It's is only £6/7 but when you need to withdraw extra money and are charged for that then it's really not very fun. We were definitely glad to be landing at Macau even with the prospect of at best a night sleeping on the airport floor.
