... week ago after earthquake renovations. It is in a good location, and the rooms are nice, but it could use a few more bath and shower rooms.
We walked to get groceries in the rain, then cooked dinner in the crowded kitchen.
The big challenge for the evening is drinking another bottle of the wine we picked up in our travels. It's tough, but as they saw down here - we'll give it a go.

Het heeft even geduurd, maar hier dan toch eindelijk het eerste reisverslag. Het is een beetje een samenvatting geworden van de eerste 2 weken. Ik zal jullie vanaf nu proberen 1 keer per week te updaten, afhankelijk van de WIFI-connectie hier.

Dolphins and destruction
... told to sing, make noises and generally act stupid in order to get them to interact with us. They're curious and playful creatures and wouldn't take any interest in us unless we entertained them. Wandering around the ruins of christchurch.
Today i woke up at 7am, got dressed and then went to
breakfast. Breakfast was pretty good, there was the usual cereal,
toast and eggs and has browns. After breakfast i went back to my room
and did a bit of reading until about 9am.
