    ... in the waterfront restaurant, where we met our waiters for the cruise, Dave and Homer.... 2 lovely guys that have customer service down pat. They kept us laughing through the meal, and made cute animals out of the napkins. And then off to Connexions, for a great night of cocktails and karaoke...such fun! We missed Sam and Tom's efforts, but were in I time to catch Mark perform a very passionate version of Alanis ...

    ... these memories float back to me as the soundtrack plays. And here's the funny thing, the french get Steely Dan too. We waited in airports and snippets came to us, we walked down ancient streets and trills of their syncopated rhythms blew over us. Its music for time travellers, those who like to be in two communing space and time continuums at the same time.

    ... had the best views on deck over the whole harbour. Gifted by jumping dolphins flatlining their dorsal fins, whilst the sunset over Sydney. Met Tara Foy, a friend George had made whilst travelling. Had 'happy hour' drinks at one of the bars in Circular Quay. Back at the hotel every one was asleep. Exhausted from the two tourist rush around Sydney. Went into the hot tub, tried to finish off the remaining beers. Walked around Sydney harbour at night. Ordered takeaway pizza from Pizza ...

    Up at six to get to the airport for our flight to Sydney. When we arrive at the airport it is still dark. It is really poorly lit and we cannot see where to leave the hire car. None of the hire company offices is open. We go round the one way system a couple of times. Eventually we find what we think is the right place and leave the car a bit hot and bothered even though it is really very cold. When we get out of the car there is someone else there in the same boat who says ...
