    ... to work trying to get the tailgate to open while waiting for Donna and Laurel to return. I managed through brute force and a small amount of intelligence to get it working but only in a way that had me thinking I'd either break it or the ignition key each time I tried.     ... off I thought, “Bugger it! I’m pulling out all stops,” and several hours of begging and an hour or two of nude photography later I had enough to buy a $12 cocktail.     ... left almost on time and was full, but the food was not too bad and there were no major dramas. I watched 3 movies - Jack Ryan (reasonable thriller), Lone Surviver (good Afghan War movie) and Le Weekend ( clever comedy - bit close to home..)
