... rangers both ways so they were pretty happy and managed to pick up their Junior Ranger books at the same time.. We walked first up to Nymph Lake and had a picnic there before heading back and doing a lap of Bear Lake...stunning views of the mountains and also a few unmelted patches of snow so plenty of snowball fights and everyone went home ...

... o man, horse ***** are baaaaad! I think my horsy was getting really ****** off with it too, as from time to time she'd stop and start neighing her head off for no apparent reason. Although we were both sore kneed and jelly legged by the end of it, it was a pleasant experience and the terrific mountain vistas made it very worthwhile.

We limped back to the car and headed off to Steamboat Springs, the place we heard about from the couple we assisted in Salvador Rnd 2.
