Thanks to a few impatient travelers who turned around and went to the next border crossing, it started moving. 2+ hours later and a few games of 'dice' with Chad, we are in the states. Come through the first town to find cows in the middle of it just hanging out. I must have found that funny (over tired?) cause I couldn't stop laughing. Great nights sleep and a lovely blue sky to greet us this morning at Flathead Lake. Plans for a morning swim disappeared as we decided to get up and go early and head for Hungry Horse, best place in the world for huckleberries according to Krista Wendle, our Montana expert friend...So by about 10am we were sitting in "The Huckleberry Patch" in Hungry Horse with a plateful of huckleberry pancakes each...just great! ... with great restaurants. First stop was Taco del Sol for halibut burritos. Hoagieville was had as well. Biga Pizza is perhaps the greatest Pizza place on the face of the planet Earth. A bacon pizza drizzled with maple syrup? Prosciutto and figs? Goat cheese and caramelized onions? Bold flavor combinations using unusually fine ingredients makes Biga honestly the best.
