I’m gonna start this off by saying Rangiroa is the most
beautiful place, in my opinion, that we have been to so far in terms of looking
from the ship. This island is of course loaded with palm trees, blue water that
turns bright teal as you look closer to shore, and huts right on the beach that
are actually hotels with rooms over the water! Absolutely beautiful. Bad news
is I am on IPM, again.

... jumping out of the water now and then. It was SO EXCITING!! The waves were just the right amount of roughness for the dolphins to play, and it was not too rough for us. I was the only one who put on the life jacket. Like others, I took video with my underwater camera, but really did not catch any good shots. We're all crowded in the zodiac and I had to hang on to the zodiac (to make sure I did not fall out of the boat:-)). I took a whole bunch of videos ...
... of its capacity. This feels like having your own private island to enjoy this slice of paradise. We meet a couple from Korea-San Francisco who join us on the snorkeling excursion. They take a nice movie of us with their GoPro and they even have time to edit it showing how close we all got to the manta rays. Really impressive.
To fill up our time, we also take the kayaks to explore other little islands and search for the ...
... Finally, night swallowed the light. After an incredible dinner of duck and meat, we cuddled up into bed covered with mosquito nets and watched "War Horse", well, just until we fell asleep.
That was one of the best days of my life. I had an extremely nice time. I hope that the following day will be as good or even better.
