    Today we traveled to Khao Sok National Park and will be staying in a treehouse in the jungle. Everywhere we look, there is a magnificent view to take in. I have to say, our resort is pretty cool. They don't have a pool but there is a swimming hole in the river. Our bathroom has a waterfall for a shower... the water is brisk but we have a waterfall in our bathroom!!     Day two in Khao Lak. Tried to book a tour to the islands. The cheapest we could find is 2000 baht for a day in a boat packed with a minimum of 30 other tourists and one guide. In Koh tao we paid 750 baht and thought we were splashing. So we went to the beach instead which was incredibly hot, even going in the water did not help cooling off. ...

    ... called the stewardess and I held her head and tried to fan her. Then there was an announcement " We have a medical emergency, is there a doctor on board?!!! It seemed all the staff on the plane and a doctor and nurse were around Chrissie. It was very scary, the doctor asked if I thought she had had a heart attack and I said I didn't know.     ... the two seats at the back usually set aside for luggage, so a new conundrum arose. The driver expressed his exasperation that tourists actually HAVE bags.
