Sad to leave the beauty of the Jamaican people, the warm water on my feet, the gorgeous sunsets and the girls on this trip. Also, J our fearless leader. He kept us in check and made it fun. I don't want to go back to a Canadian winter. Not quite yet. ...
... gave me an explanation and a tour and then left. He called me at 7 to check and see if I needed anything.
I even managed to find my way around the resort, mostly. Lisa had a massive suite. Danielle had a swanky room also.
We hung out in her room for a bit. Not much happening there as it's couples only.
Tomorrow we leave for home. ...
The sunshine felt nice after leaving so much rain. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and nice. I did notice the elevator area on the main level smelled quite musty. Dinner was adequate and there was a guy singing and playing keyboards for Repeat Guest Dinner night which we attended. He was pretty good. Although he doesn't understand mic distance so he popped a lot of "p"s.
... told me what was going on in the area. Since I was starving by then he took me to get some jerk chicken with peas and rice - delish.
When we came back I met 2 other girls from England who I was sharing the room with and who have been in Jamaica for quite some time already. Perfect opportunity to get some first hand information on what to do and where to go. And of course to go to my first dancehall party ever - EPIC!
... and there's really not much more I can say. We had an amazing time from just laying out on the beach, to horseback riding, and partying with the ever so aggressive but still so hospitable locals. Truly an exceptional time with some of the most beautiful people on the planet.
These pics do the trip no justice but I hope you enjoy them none the less. And if you've never been to Jamaica you should work on changing that.
