There was anticipation the morning we left for Ridgway State Park. It was to be the place that the four of us set up camp in order to visit Ouray and Telluride. There was only time for a day trip to both places, but that was ok. This gave us time to walk the main streets of both towns and visit some yummy eating/drinking establishments. ... up my tent a ranger came by and he mentioned he was a volunteer ranger.....hmmmm. He was the third one i met over this trip and he told me about it, and it does sound like a fun experience when i retire one day...even more so for my brother Brian!
