... Thanksgiving Day camping down in the canyon itself. It was a long walk down but there was absolutely no-one else around. Bliss. On our way down into the canyon, a dam worker drove past us and we had a chat. We told him we were camping out in the snow and he called us "ambitious sons-o-*****es." We thought that was hilarious.

Since I've last blogged, we've tackled another build day (this one in Buena Vista), a hilly 83 mile ride into Gunnison from Buena Vista (yay Monarch Pass!), and have accomplished today's 92 mile ride in some pretty high temperatures. I was part of the "Beautification" crew on the build day. The 8 of us were responsible for weeding the entire front yard of the Habitat ReStore in Buena Vista.
