First let me apologize to all those that we did not get to see. It was a quick trip (I should have planned better)! This won't be our last time up there, so we will hope to see all those that we missed on our next trip to New England, next summer.

... load up again and head to a pond where I might be better suited for my first attempt, although I must add it was not a pond like we might call one in the back garden but one as big as the balancing lake in Priorslee; it was Heron Pond to be exact. It was much less choppy, and I came to like kayaking as we navigated our way around the periphery, although I occasionally drifted towards the middle and felt the work suddenly get harder.
