      It's amazing how much planning I have put into the airplane rides--the surprise books, games, and small toys to keep the boys content in their seats for hour after hour. Like them, I know I will want to move. Flying coach across the U.S. and then to Europe is miserable, mostly for the confinement. We're going to make even the airplane rides an adventure--a quiet adventure : )

      ... I didn't even miss not being on a bike.

      With so many thermal hot springs around we went for a dip in the hot pools in Ouray on the way to Telluride. Driving into Telluride the speed limit is 15 miles per hour (or about 30km/h) This set the pace for this sleepy town which was one of the original party towns and still occasionally is with festivals and drinking. This town has the first bank Butch Cassidy robed back in the 1800's ...
