    Just spent the day wandering around downtown Christchurch, and what a beautiful city it is! Ok, not Queenstown beautiful, but beautiful in it's own way.

    Yesterday I took a 9 HOUR bus ride from QTown to here, and while it actually went by fairly fast and went past some really gorgeous scenery (I mean when I have I NOT had a beautiful bus ride?     I haven't been posting regularly, so I thought I would just jot some random thoughts down.

    Mark and I are still making it to CrossFit every morning and find the workouts are getting easier to complete. We both definitely look the part of avid exercisers now! We went to our last Beginner Class this morning and now it is up to us to take the Beginner's Sequence Test so that we can enter the WOD classes in April.

    ... cricket on Sundays were forced to find a private ground as no play was allowed. The ground was formed by Harry Waters, managing director of Christchurch Cinemas and a keen cricketer. Not only is it a gorgeous setting in a beautiful valley but until 3 years ago no women were allowed at the ground. I'm not sure if that also was a reason for the naming of the ground.
