For example, there was a disco ball style one, one with a world map in its spots and one covered in the faces of the people who designed them. Their motto is 'stand tall Christchurch'. ... the New Zealand runners, as this is their warm up for the Christchurch marathon in June. The horn blew, then the runners went off like a flash. With top athletes at the front looking to achieve sub 50 minutes, the competition was high! No fun runners here! Nathan knew it would be a tough race, as had done little training, aiming to achieve sub 60 minutes. It was a good race, nice and flat so personal best times were anticipated. It was ...

... of his upbringing, the night was perfect. Met a great couple from Australia who gave us some good company (including the shady guy experience), and by the end of the night we were ALL ready for zzz’s!Our next stop was in Fox Glacier for a couple of nights. This was a beautiful, crazy drive….super curvy roads, lots of hairpin turns and single lane bridges/tunnels. The perfect recipe for motion sickness and after ...
