The next stop on our journey was to Christchurch. It's the South Island's largest city. Christchurch is a beautiful city near the water. Half the city is a huge domain park with excellent botanical gardens and rose gardens. We stayed just outside of the city center for 4 nights, right near the beach. I was ready for a cabin so the first night that's what we did. Bunk beds again! Yippee ...

I AM NO LONGER A MCDONALDS SLAVE!!!!!!!!!!! I will really miss a lot of the people though. There are some pretty sweet as people there. After some confusion regarding parking arrangements & costs (the girl on reception was a bit thick), we popped out to get some food & drink from 'Pack & Save', which is pretty much the cheapest supermarket brand in NZ.
