... helicopter ride was so much fun! We got onto the glacier and equipped our crampons ready to do some hiking. Once again every turn had awesome views and many a group photo was had. We squeezed through crevasses and slid down icy slides. All in all it was definitely a highlight of our trip. It also got us free passes into the hot pools there, very welcome in the evening when the temperature really dropped. July 6th 2015 We were meant to have some of the best ...

Driving out of Milford Sound was as beautiful as entering but perhaps sadder. On our last morning we had sailed out of the sheltered bay to the start of the Tasman Sea where it soon started to get choppy. A cruise liner, similar in scale to those we saw in Sydney, had pulled into the Sound here however it looked tiny set against the ...

... br> That night the movie "Edge of Tomorrow" with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt was playing at the Summer Times "Good Night Festival" in the Botanic Gardens, so we walked over with a bag of popcorn to watch the movie. The weather was perfect for the evening and the movie was pretty decent. I wouldn't go out of your way to see it though. The movie ended around 9pm so we began our walk home. After an exciting day spent outside in the hot sun, we were exhausted and went straight to ...
