Today we set off on a longer day trip to see Devil's bridge. To be fair, the trip was great, and Devil's bridge was nice to see, but it was a heck of a trip to get there !! Not helped by our satnav which decided to take us on a 10km detour only to bring us back to where we ...

We managed to get there just in time to enjoy the sunset too which was ...

        ARRIVAL AT CASTROVILLARI

Once arriving onto the mainland we were quickly on the road again driving the next two half hour leg to Castrovillari. By the time we reached our accommodation we were ready to just book in and rest up before working out what to do for dinner.

        THE OVER HELPFUL OWNER

Upon reaching the B&B we were greeted by the owner who seemed really nice but couldn't speak a word of English and so we had ...

... move back into some of the original cave houses - a site truly worth our diversion to see. After Matera we eventually made it to our final targeted destination of Frascineto at about 3:30pm. Tonight we've been invited to have dinner with the elderly couple of the house in our B&B which is going to be quite interesting as the lovely lady does not speak a word of English. They really seem like a very sweet old ...
