... tell why the rich and famous have houses here. After catching the ferry across to Sorrento back on the mainland and walking up 1000 steps to get to the bus we noticed that our token Asian Olivia wasn't with us. It was later discovered she didn't even get off the ferry and was heading back to Capri... Funny stuff Had dinner at a restaurant overlooking the bay of Naples. It had million dollar views and was all very impressive then shot back to the hotel for a recovery from the sun and ...

I on the other hand, like to have one all ...

... arrive at the restaurant, we go to a huge room with a long table and plenty of seats for 30+ people. Pizza and arancini (rice ball) is passed around and later biscotti cookies! Yummy! Two brothers begin playing old Sicilian songs on the guitar and the entire group starts singing and clapping! In the corner, a group of young girls dance in a small circle, tarantella style! It's awesome!! ...

... Another cousin, Nino (short for Antonino) takes us to his "campagna", in the afternoon. They take pride in the food they cultivate not only because it's a lot of physically demanding work, but because it's the food that eventually gets put on the table for the family to gather around. And over here, la familigia is your everything! Today is Friday and our plans are to visit some of the Aeolian Islands by ferry. So stay tuned.... In the meantime, check out some of our pics! ...
