    ... Enzo, who appeared first, followed by Sandra, Phillip and John. They were surprised to meet a complete stranger who was going to stay with their cousins in little Lipari!     We knew this day was coming but it came too soon.... Time to farewell a thousand people in one foul swoop! We had it all planned, starting at 12 and hopefully finishing at 6 so we could finish packing and cleaning before heading to rome tomorrow for a day before saying goodbye for a while to this amazing continent. On the way home we stopped to get the kids gelato and then headed over to a little restaurant we found down the road called trattoria tipica - it had a lovely atmosphere but I was a little worried when I saw cavello on the menu, we had a laugh but didn't tell the kids then I went on to ordered the mixed meat platter and then realised it might come with horse!!!
