I went to Rome for Turkey Day. Italians don't know about Thanksgiving, but the Xmas decorations sprung out on Friday, right on time. Last night I dreamed of onward travels. Anxious dreams. Today is the day I've been dreading since the beginning. Today I go to Rome. I have to obtain visas for Ethiopia and Sudan. ... blocks from the famous Trevi Fountain, so we took advantage of the wait time to head down and check it out. We got around the corner and just liek with the Sistine, we were not prepared for the Trevi. This thing was HUGE! And there were all sorts of people waiting to throw their coins in the fountain.
