... wearing mint green trousers, a black sweater, and an orange and grey striped shirt. Seriously, don't these people have mirrors?! We reached the final day of the In-laws stay today, and we awoke to a still, bright and sunny morning. By 10am the temperature reached the mid-twenties, and we spent a good proportion of the day lounging around enjoying the blue Tuscan skies. ... direction. And sure enough, as promised, we got there in under 10 minutes and it was 7 euros. We tipped him though - without him we were screwed! AND we actually felt much safer than we did in the taxi - given he was completely ruthless with his driving! This man was mostly calm and gentle - surprisingly. We went and got our luggage and headed to the platform we needed for our train to Florence. We only had about a 15 minute wait before our train arrived. Hooray!
    We were off to Florence.
