    ... train to Manorola doesn’t take long, maybe 5 minutes. We had a look around the town, a few steep hills to climb and really no town centre. We must have been way too early, hard to even find a coffee and croissant to breakfast at about 9.30am.

    ... who were really friendly and we spent the early hours of the morning drinking and chatting whilst overlooking the mariner. The next day I slept in and woke with a hangover.     Our day started early, but not early enough.... Misread the schedule and kept our guide Matteo waiting for us outside the ship! He was great about it and we all got on our way towards Pisa.     ... to get a drink and realized that they had ‘sky sport’ on their television and were actually watching the same game. So we settled down and watched the rest of the game with a nice drink and some nibblies. Have to remember this for the future. It usually is a ‘nightclub’ type of establishment full of much younger people than us but …in moments like now…during the day, it is perfect.
