... the Turkish bath and I returned to our room to shower and pack. Rita, Sloan and Nancy were in town shopping and I later heard that some "Italian" men were trying to impress them with their Italian ~ really Jeff, "spaghetti!"

At 6:30pm we were all meeting on the terrace for a glass of wine, we had been so busy all week that we had yet to make it out here. We all arrived carrying a bottle of wine and I brought the "weekend Waterford" ...

... beverage time. At the bottom of the hill, we met up with the rest of our group and sat outside to have some beers & wine. Again, it was another beautiful warm day in Umbria, we could not ask for better weather.

We met a friend for a caffe' (coffee) for lunch and then walked the town of Fabriano. We were treated to a special behind-the-scenes of a beautiful theater. This was right out of the movie Amadeus. Very limited (but beautiful) plush red velvet seat on the floor however the "cool" factor here ...

We didn't have a cooking class today, instead we were headed out for a day of touring. First stop would be Assisi, followed by going to the town of Montefalco for some wine tasting & lastly headed to an olive oil mill.

Our alarm went off at 8am, we got dressed & went down to the breakfast room. It is such a pretty room & overlooks out onto a terrace. The mornings are usually a bit cool & foggy, which soon lifts & the bright sun appears for a ...
