While we enjoyed the history and all of the sights of Rome, Tuscany is where we were most excited for. Montepulciano is beautiful. We had to take the train from Rome to the middle of no where (aka Chiusi), then a bus, and finally a shuttle bus just to get to the town. But it was worth it. We toasted the birthday boy "Chin chin" with Proscetto and drank red wine with our meal. Some had a Venezuelan rum (neat) to finish off with. It was a very pleasant evening and the family made me feel very welcome. Grazie mille.
