... driving away. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any eruptions while we were there, although there is constant steam coming from the top and when we listened closely we could hear little explosions coming from the mountain.

It was a great day, but we're beat. According to my Fitbit, we walked 16,140 steps or 6.42 miles! Looking forward to a relaxing day on a sailboat tomorrow!

... delicious and the wine even better! After that we went home and packed to move onto Sorrento. After the two days there im 5kgs heavier, and am absolutely full of wine knowledge. This little country town proved to be awesome, the people, the food and the wine were of a next level and the perfect welcome to Italy. We woke up a little earlier today to make the hour long trip to Noto, famous for its Baroque architecture, almonds and the gelateria that purportedly makes the best ice-cream in the world! I have to bribe the girls with either the promise of shopping or something nice to eat if I expect them to traipse through Duomo after Duomo, or climb unendingly steep hills in search of castles and mosaics.
