... for those who read it.. Grant thought it was confusing and not clear that under the water someone had a put a large plastic /ceramic nativity scene that you can see from the boat. I hope it was made more clear and that we are not poking fun at anyone's belief. I have clarified that now although I cannot even imagine the explanation of why or how it was put there in the first place.

Off to get ready for tomorrow!

Anyway, no photos taken today so have included some more from our Medieval festival last night and more views around our villa.

    Ciao

... I should probably mention that lots of wonderful food was eaten and the highlight would be the meal we had at L’osteria on Lyndsey's last night where we once again ordered the degustation menu which consisted of course of copious amounts of delicious food and wine. We had antipasto, pici (a thick spaghetti like pasta famous to Siena), a traditional soup made with white beans, Veal and my favourite was the pork with the truffle oil and then assorted ...

... still of this sort - not sophisticated, to be drunk within the year, but very drinkable and no more than €3 per bottle !

We had two further meals in the remaining two days, and more time exploring Siena. We ate at "Anteria Osteria da Divo" for the official farewell dinner of the tour. This well known restaurant is situated in ancient Etruscan rooms cut of the rock. We had more time than originally planned on Sunday. I joined ...
