This hike was done backwards 1619. A New Starting Point (Ita 181) San Leo, July 29, 2013, Day 251 5 hrs, 3.8 kms Next day I'm ready to go explore San Marino some more. Back in 2009 I visited 6 towns in San Marino. Now I need to explore 5 more and I'll have explored every single town in the country. Not very many counties I can say that about! I'm looking forward to being able to say "I've COMPLETELY explore the Republic of San Marino!" I'm actually ...

... final touch to my Day of Discovery in San Marino… So I head on back to Dogama, and back on the bus to Rimini. I didn’t explore every single town in San Marino, but with 6 towns in a country of 25,000 I think I can safely say that I have “Thoroughly Explored San Marino”… …But at the same time, I might want to come back here some day, just for fun… and I can explore the remaining 6 or 7 villages… Hello and Goodbye, San ...

... they've clustered them together to makes things more efficient, I guess...

Anyways, I'm going to count Coriano as officially parkbenched... I continue on through the vineyards and increasingly busy roads until I reach the edge of Rimini by nightfall. I'll have to check on Google Maps to make sure, but I'm pretty confident that I've reached the 100 km point so I can call this a Superhike.

One disappointment about San Marino is that I didn't have ...

... up and turn back... I try another spot... nope. I gaze back at the village high above me, wondering if the entire town is watching the spectacle... I'm determined to make it down to the road--or perish in the undertaking. I cut through to another field--then another trying again to get through... finally on my fourth try, I find a way through and I'm back on the road again, sweaty and flustered... Kind of an odd way to end my exploration of San ...
