    ... shelter during WWII. Napoli was one of the heaviest bombed Italian cities during the war. They also say that they were the first Italian city to liberate themselves from the Nazi occupation. I love Napoli and I wish we could stay longer, but it's off to Calabria now, and then back up to the Amalfi Coast.     ... This was the case, so we strolled back to the hotel, read our emails and then wandered back to town to seek out sustenance. We came across a small shop with a male model displaying men's undies - we had to chuckle - the bulge in the front was SO obvious. Clearly they were designed to be worn by members of the Italian mens rowing team!

    Today finds out wandering other areas of
    Rome..through to the Trevi fountain..soo much larger than I expected. Hundreds
    of people cramming in to throw their coin in the fountain (on the promise of
    your return to Rome)..hopefully all the money collected does go to a needy
    charity,,cause there were a LOT of coins hitting the bottom!!
