      ... Mark lost his Colorado hat (that he had somehow held on to the whole year) in the Corpus Christi airport. But the day wasn't all bad. Our long layover in Dallas meant that we had time to scarf down Qdoba burritos (Chipotle has to wait until Colorado).       ... sea turtle habitat, and for other animals. Its also a recreation beach. We were to, surprisingly, RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE DOWN THE PACK DOWN BEACH!!! And camp along the shores were ever we felt like stopping. The things I've learned from this trip 1. I may be a nudist 2. The Chinese buffet by padre island is awesome! 3.       ... tankers are lined up outside the port entry, ready to make their way into the harbor of Corpus Christi. There are countless oil refineries throughout the surrounding inland area. As you fill-up today, thank the “US corporate OIL production pipeline” coming out of the south Texas area—alongside a pristine coastline featuring a vacation area such as Mustang Island and the Padre Island National Seashore.

      ... boardwalk to the beach then he returned to "G/G" to get some towels. The boys played for a while in the sand and a little in the water. After about 30 minutes, we returned to "G/G", cleaned the kids up then they departed for home. It was nice to be with them for a while and the boys got used to us. We'll see how long that lasts.

      Dinner tonight was a catered affair, not great but OK. Overall, the meals this weekend ...

      After lunch we drove down the beach a bit. This weekend is SANDFEST and we wanted to see what we could, which was nothing! We will be going back tomorrow along with the couple of thousand others who will probably be here. Bob will not be thrilled, but if he doesn't want to go he doesn't have to, we'll see.
