... The Bluebirds are gone and the Robins are still hanging around.

I've gone into Anaconda each day, except today, for a meeting and got to hear friends share their Experience, Strength and Hope. It's all good.

It's been very quiet, with the highlight of Wednesday being the arrival of the Garbage Truck. It's busier today, but I've seen only one boat on the water, over near the Pump House. There are a half-dozen rigs ...

Jean made breakfast again this morning, same as yesterday. I worked a little on some vacation pictures. We left at 10:30 to go to Anaconda to visit the Historical Society museum which is housed in the Old City Hall. Outside the building was a farm market run by Hutterites. Mike shined his light down one shaft that was used to transport the ore, to show us the acidic water level that is only 7 feet below the Butte aquifer and still rising. We then put one step in the elevator that transported the men to look up the shaft and see how far down we were. Returning to the surface, we ...

... soup & salad. Then we had a 20 minute wait until our main course arrived! Jean had the duck dish. I started with a crab-cake appetizer, and then had a prime rib dinner. We both had leftovers, which we boxed up. I then ordered a piece of blueberry pie to go. I figure to use it tomorrow night for dessert when we have our leftovers. We then returned to the condo where I worked on the HMS band website and Jean watched one of her programs on TV. No movie ...

... Trail, one of our favorites and where we cross-country skied back in the seventies. There's more than the usual green this year, what with all of the rain. The forest floor is dry now, however.

I got into Anaconda for a Saturday morning meeting and also one at St. Timothy's Chapel at Southern Cross early Sunday eve. The picture is a view from there, at St. Timothy's.

        We had only ...
