The next day we drove to a beautiful summer house lent to us by a family friend of Gabor, and we spent the remainder of the week sleeping in, swimming in the lake,

The Cabin and Karad
... city 1,000 years old and took a few pictures. We also stopped near the Balaton to have a look around and check out Tiheny Abbey. This was a lovely area with some great views.
At Eva's mother's (Elizabeth), we were fed squash soup, fried pork, scalloped potatoes and fresh bread, and dessert of plum cake.

Balaton- Plattensee
... Hosteleigenen "Aussenbar" und lernen zudem noch einen supernetten Ami, Casey, kennen und eine Niederlaenderin, Tessa. Wir verbringen den Abend Floecc trinkend, quasi Weinschorle auf Ungarisch mit eigenem ungarischen Weisswein und erkunden das Oertchen dann noch ein wenig. Onnellinen Balaton järvellä
Kymmenisen päivää Balaton järven äärellä takana ja huomenna matka jatkuu. Ihana on ollut olla pois kaupungeista ja viettää aikaa sellaisessa paikassa, jossa ei oikeastaan ole muuta tekemistä kuin olla vaan. Viime viikon perjantaina myöhään saavuttiin tänne Balaton Boglarin kuntaan, jossa Joel tätä nykyä pyörittää hostellia.
