7th August- Pretty sailing along the Saone River in the direction of Lyon. Just outside the city we saw the Paul Bocuse restaurant. Once we were moored in Lyon we did a city tour beginning with the hill of Fourviere to see the beautiful cathedral and city views. Many wonderful mosaics on the interior walls. Then it was down to the old city below the hill. Went through one of the hidden lane ways called traboules used by the silk weavers to transport ...

The waiter even commented that his French was understandable. The meal was delicious. This place makes all their noodles by hand. Maybe France is known ...

These ones also prove to be delicious. On the way home we stop at the boulangerie to pick up two croissants and a warm and delicious baguette. At this point we decide we probably have enough for breakfast! The croissants are excellent, better in fact than any we ...

... I have work to do. Normally I'm not rude though with this sort of semi-retarded French person. I just say excuse me, pardon me etc. Who knows, there might just be a time in the future when this sort of mental retardation is cured and France can start being like normal countries. Because you know also, it doesn't just happen in my restaurant, I see this sort of lack of peripheral vision in the streets when I'm riding my bike also. It's really a good thing that ...
