... next section it can be a complete catastrophe. Down low the heat and humidity suffocating, the weather up high…cold!

So, we were travelling from one side of Valais to the opposite end and up 3000 ft. Hmmm….so I packed shorts, pants, t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, runners, swim suits (because it’s summer and there might be a lake…), rain gear, an umbrella, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses….oh yeah… and chocolate.

... plan a short 90 km ride to Sissach, a place near Basel. There I stay I should spend my last night on Swiss territory , before heading towards Germany. The night I spend with some of my very nice relatives.

... air was so crisp, like fresh mountain air, so we were giddy with excitement at what we would see in the morning. We were a little worried that since it was around 11pm we would not be allowed to check into our hostel, so we took our first taxi of the trip so we could get there ASAP. ... into a beautiful little country town. There were flowers over the bridge, a nice little canal with a boat, a market selling clothing and fresh produce, the coffee shop had nice coffee for a change, and pretty cheap too. I bought some postcards, write them out at the coffee shop, but when I went to post office it had just closed. Apparently most stuff around here closes at 12:30pm and reopens around 2:00pm. This was no problem, it was nice to sit back and relax in this quaint ...

... ass during winter, you could pretty much just ski around town. We then had the option to go up the mountain by gondola even further but the weather started to pack up, we made our way back.

The shena****ns with the tour followed again at night with beer can races down in the river and more excessive drinking Switzerland made a big dent in our budget but worth every penny - I really hope we come back soon.
