... next-door to as far away as trans-Atlantic countries! I can look up anything on the "Internet encyclopedia". I can find out that you can not indeed buy alcohol at the Migros, I can check the weather forecast, facetime with my family back home in Canada, but do you think I could answer a darn phone call when it comes in…..?

... but headed straight to Wengen via another train, and then a gondola to Mannlichen. Our goal was to take the 2.5 mile downhill hike from Mannlichen to Kleine Scheldegg while the weather was still nice and clear. The views were absolutely amazing!

We checked out at noon, but still had to kill about 2 hours until our ride came to pick us up. So, we stashed our luggage under the staircase and hung out in the front yard with the dog that greeted us last night, Savanthia, while Kyle played guitar. Ah France, cultured, sophisticated, beautiful people. WRONG!!! 10:00am So today hasn't been a good start to the day. Shannon's alarm didn't go off this morning, so at 7:05am I rushed up to his room to wake him up. Ten minutes later we were out the door, hurrying toward Gare de Paris Bercy, or Bercy train station.
