      While the snows, clearly, had been melting, there were still several inches of snow and ice on the sides of the trail and occasionally on our path to the park. For a ‘National Park’, this place did not have the infrastructure that we come to enjoy in many of the parks in the states (e.g., Mount Rainier).       ... the little ones play fighting.
      It was a great day at monkey park, the monkeys were very entertaining and well worth the effort to get here.
      Now we are back in town and head to a discount clothes store where Shauna buys herself some snow boots for $7, as she is heading to the snow field with her boyfriend when he arrives in April 10th. I wont be travelling with, instead i will head to Toyama to see the Snow tunnel and do some ...

      ... are not as a high as the Alps the snow seems excellent.

      The hotel at the airport was, well an airport hotel so not much write home about… but Japan on the other hand…

      Can’t wait to chat to our Japanese friends back at JSK to explain what a country they’ve got.

      I hope the kids remember and savour it as there won’t be many more interesting and fun countries they ...

      We pushed it a little bit and the last run down and Isabel ran out of fuel and melted down. To be fair she had done unbelievably well and was only her 4th day skiing and she was actually leading us all through the forest tracks but when she goes, she erupts!

      ... world – dream life / no kids.

      We took the gondola straight up to the top of the mountain and the kids were amazing. Straight down. The snow was good but a little icy. We did a few runs at the top of the mountain and then skied down to the bottom of the valley including a red run which the kids took in their stride.
