... out to find the ‘Express’ bus to the park. To be clear, we had already traveled:
- 15 minute shuttle ride from the hotel to Shinjuku station.
- 20 minute train ride from Shinjuku station to Tokyo station.
- 90 minute shinkansen ride from Tokyo station to Nagano station.
- 45 minute bus ride to Kabayashi Onsen stop.
- 30 minute hike (up the mountain, through the woods and snow and mud) to ...
... the floor.
Our room overlooks the train line and Nagano train station, so we get to see the trains come and go, even the Shinkansen.
We take a walk around the area and find a supermarket to get some breakfast supplies.
