Our morning drive, through some pretty thick fog and chilly temperatures, took us from Prague to Cesky Krumlov. Cesky Krumlov is a small town, still within Czech Republic, that is a UNESCO heritage listed town. Again, I had visited Cesky Krumlov before, but it was great seeing it decorated for Christmas and taking in its beauty. ... to the very nice heritage listed small town, all the buildings in uniform and loverly colours. Found a life size Christmas nativity scene carved out of tree trunks on the town's grassy centre. Met a very friendly puppy that wanted lots of attention, with no master about but obviously well loved. The fog started to lift so we thought of leaving but with it getting dark so early these days we decided to stay here for the night, a nice quiet car park with free wifi!

... After the cathedral and the cloisters we wandered essentially aimlessly around the town stopping here and there. Probably the best was the local bakery where just about everything in the glass case looks amazing and is under one dollar. Pretty much anything you could ever want from a bakery we ended up with: some cold cheesy bread with bacon baked into it and Shana got a giant chocolate dipped donut.
