          • 90 minute shinkansen ride from Tokyo station to Nagano station.
          Now we needed to take:
          • 45 minute bus ride to Kabayashi Onsen stop.

Our room overlooks the train line and Nagano train station, so we get to see the trains come and go, even the Shinkansen.
We take a walk around the area and find a supermarket to get some breakfast supplies.

Back to the hotel for a quick pack up and then the long journey back to Tokyo airport with bus, bus, train, train, bus. All a lot of fun in Japan and that probably sums up Japan. The people are the most polite and respectful I’ve ever met. Everything is very different but really interesting and it’s definitely a country that I’d like to come back to. The skiing was great and although ...
