    ... 2.04pm Shinkansen back to Nagano. We then took an old fashion bus to Zonkoji Temple. Owen left soon after and we were left to fend for ourselves. It was an easy 1.7Km walk downhill back to the hotel, supposedly.

    ... walk through the winter walk where workers have to walk for 20km for 6 hours. There was a monkey sitting on the top of the stairs so it became a choice of whether we wanted a photo of the monkey or that of a train going over the red bridge. In the end, the train on the bridge won out.

    They left us at the home of missionaries who took care of us till we got back on the bullet train and headed for Nagano to visit more missionaries, where we have seen some of their work and lives and enjoyed another visit to another onsen (hot springs bath).
