... huge big snow flakes falling down, it has eased up a bit now but was lovely, such a novelty coming from the tropics to snow. A big on of us got dropped in for dinner at 6. We ended up at a ramen place for warm soup and a beer. We sat with a young NZ guy here for the skiing. After this he took us to a cute little bar where we had to try the sake cocktails. Well today I managed to tick another big ticket off my wildlife list. The Japanese Macaques or Snow Monkeys. Marina made us a delicious traditional breakfast of rice balls stuffed with seaweed and local plums plus a bowl of miso soup and some pickled vegetables and grasshopper.
