So it has been pretty interesting weather wise here. Where I am staying luckily we were not directly affected by Typhoon Neorgiri and the Level 5 earthquake that happened this past week. The typhoon hit Okinawa pretty severely and the earthquake was on the coast by Tokyo. I really am not...how do I put this....geographically aware. Happy 4th of July Everyone!

Today we went to Susobana ES. It was a large school of about 700 students. We were told schools aren't allowed to be much bigger than that. We presented to 3 different groups about our school. Today we went to Naganuma ES. This school was out in the country. They had their own orchard of cherry, plum, and apple trees. They grew their own sweet potatoes, corn, rice fields, and other veggies. The students plant and take care of their "mini" farm. This school also gets a lot the help and volunteers from the community. Very small school 100 students and 8 teachers. We ...
